Mock Inspections – We review all aspects of the CQC KLOE's. We provide not only a report similar to that you would expect from CQC, but we also clearly demonstrate where we located the evidence; this helps when the inspector visits and you need to find evidence quickly.
The mock inspection is a great way to take the temperature of your business and see what needs to be improved and, more importantly, what is excellent already to enable you to build on those successes.

Client and Staff Satisfaction Surveys – Many Health and Social Care companies conduct their satisfaction surveys, and many also produce the results and action plans to address issues. Some people believe that internal surveys have less impact and prevent honesty, as they are internally reviewed. Our surveys provide total anonymity to respondents whilst providing the organisation with a detailed report. We have seen response rates improve from internal surveys and the quality of the data. Where there is national data available, we also benchmark your service against industry standards to enable you to see where you sit in the marketplace. In a world where recruitment is not easy, knowing what your staff think can help retain staff.

Policy Review – Good Governance starts with great policies that are used daily. No longer is the case that policies can sit on the shelf ready for inspection, but what happens, in reality, is entirely different.
More emphasis than ever before is placed on good quality policies that reflect national guidance and best practice. The policies need to be used, and it should be possible to demonstrate compliance with every policy. If you have devised a form for use, but it is not crossed referenced to a policy, then your policies need to be reviewed. This ensures that you can demonstrate that you are a learning organisation, reviewing documentation and policies when something happens or requires a change.
It may be helpful to consider using policies and procedures (the rules) and adding guidance documents to allow professional judgment but offer a gold standard. When implementing guidance documents, it is essential to stress that this is the standard expected and where staff members deviate from the guideline the rationale should be documented within the care record.
